Gene Newton: Guestbook
Debbie Morano

Hello Gene,
I don't know if you remember my daughter and me with all of the many students you taught. You were her teacher at North Central High in about 1994 or so. Her name then was Melissa Turner. I was just going through my cd's this morning and came across your Celestial Plea cd. I am listening to your beautiful music as I type this. I just wanted to say hello and I'm glad to have found you on the internet so I can enjoy more of your music. Sincerely, Debbie Morano

Mr. Newton twenty years later you still inspire me. I started kinda playing my bass again but I have a long way to go. you still hold the best memories of high school. my nephews go to Jefferson now and from what I gather its still not up to your standards. I'm still glad I got to study and learn from you. You still influence my taste in music and allow myself to explore other styles. Thanks again for all you have done.

Mr. Newton,
You were my biggest inspiration in High School. North Central High School, Spokane, WA 1995-1998. You are a wonderful man and I just wanted to let you know that the entire class was heartbroken to see you go but I think we all understood. Peace, Holly Simpson

Gene is a gentle man, but he is also a gentleman, if you know what I mean. Do you know what I mean? It doesn't matter if you do, but, for the sake of politeness, nod your head as if you do, even if you don't. Cheers, Gene!

I have looked for you for years. I am going to get your album. I thought you should know that I continued on to San Jose State and majored in Theater and minored in Musical Theater. My life was touched by you and I love you for every moment you gave me at Jefferson High. Hope to hear from you.

Nice site Gene...suits you well. I especially love that others can take a listen to your wonderful music.
You might consider adding a nice family photo or tell your fans a bit about your incredible wife and kids.

Hi there, just a note to say what a nice website this is.... I love the clean, crisp look and feel of it.
I love the photo that you chose, it would really be nice if you had a phot pop up attached to each "button".... this would give the person viewing your site even more insight to who you are and what you are about... what do you love? Just my humble opinion.
Hope all is well... I was thinking of you tonight... so nice to hear from you!
